The City of La Puente’s Community Outreach Department’s mission is to advocate for and represent the dignity and rights of people who are or are on the verge of becoming homeless. Our Programs, Re-employment, and Outreach Services offer tools and resources needed to lead self-sufficient lives. By offering multi-disciplinary wrap-around services, we help those who have experienced homelessness prepare for independent futures. Beyond homeless resources, we are here to provide various services and programs to all our residents, business owners, and visitors. Our goal is to assist individuals and families whose own resources have been exhausted by stabilizing their situation and seeking long-term solutions. These services include outreach assistance for displaced residents, re-employment and opportunities, wrap-around services, and resource navigation assistance.
