In accordance with state law, the City of La Puente participates in labor negotiations (also known as collective bargaining) with its bargaining unit. The result of the negotiations processes is a written agreement or contract reached between the City and the City’s employee association. This type of agreement is commonly referred to as Memoranda of Understanding (MOU).
