The mission of the City Clerk’s office is to provide extraordinary customer service to the public, City staff, and the City Council in an efficient, professional, and transparent manner. Our services include preparation of staff reports, meeting agenda packets, City Council meeting minutes, posting of meeting agendas, and publication of public notices. Additionally, the City Clerk’s office prepares, processes and archives resolutions, ordinances and contracts in accordance with all applicable legal requirements. Our team ensures compliance with the City’s records retention and disposition policies, manages and responds to all requests for public records and maintains the City’s Municipal Code.
The City Clerk serves as the City’s Elections Official and oversees the conduct of all municipal elections. The City Clerk also administers the Citywide conflict of interest code and ensures compliance with the Political Reform Act, serving as the filing officer for campaign reports and statements of economic interest.
