The Community Services Department provides world-class recreation activities, which reflect the interest, needs, and demographics of the residents of La Puente. Recreation programs enhance the quality of life in the City, build a sense of community, expose children to positive role models, improve self-esteem, and contribute to the health and safety of the City of La Puente. 

The Community Services Department strives to touch each life through the use of our recreation facilitates and parks, classes, programs and special events.  The City of La Puente’s Quarterly Spotlight and the Annual City of La Puente Calendar is also produced in the Community Services Department.
