NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCIES
Pursuant to the Maddy Act (Government Code section 54970 et seq.)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of La Puente is now accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Planning Commission. The terms will expire on June 13, 2025.
Duties of the Planning Commission include, but are not limited to:
✓ Advising the City Council on matters that could result in either zoning or General Plan amendments
✓ Hearing appeals of zoning decisions
✓ Reviewing development and land use permit applications
✓ Making recommendations to the City Council on development agreements, specific plans and amendments, and related environmental documents
Planning Commissioners must reside in the City of La Puente at the time of the appointment and throughout the term in office and be registered to vote in the City.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers.
Application forms may be obtained at City Hall, 15900 East Main Street, La Puente, California 91744 and on the City’s website at www.lapuente.org.
